Orange Pop: Walter Trout follows the blues muse


It's not often that an artist releases an album so strong that it fuels a worldwide tour that lasts more than a year.

But for Walter Trout, the release of "Full Circle" a year ago has resulted in the well-deserved ascension of the celebrated singer-songwriter-guitarist into a major concert draw across the U.S. and Canada. The 56-year-old musician suddenly finds himself headlining at blues festivals across North America, including at the ninth annual Irvine Lake Blues Festival in Silverado on Sunday. [read more]
