15- year-old can rock with the best of them

I love finding out about new up and coming talent, and 10th grader, Desiree Bassett apparently burns up a guitar fretboard. Her dad is Dan Bassett who plays with Living Colour. This info is from courant.com

DESIREE' BASSETT, a 10th-grader at E.O. Smith High School in Storrs, is gaining national recognition for her skills with a guitar. The 15-year-old, who started playing when she was 3, was featured in Guitar Player magazine this past summer. "She's a true artist in every sense of the word," her father, Dan Bassett, said. Desiree', who likes country music, jazz and blues, took guitar lessons from professors at the University of Connecticut, and she now gives lessons to others. She's currently working on an album with her band, Desiree' & the Time Machine. (MARK MIRKO / November 14, 2007)

If you get to see her perform, I promise you an experience you may never forget.
She truly is a gifted artist and I can only refer you to any one of the sites including her webpage to check it out yourself.
